Creation

I started writing this song on top of a guitar riff I had come up with. This song ended up being the first time I learnt and used many features of Cubase (and DAW's in general). I was working and reworking it on Cubase for about a month (January 2017) while experimenting with EQs, compressors effects and more.

Content

The song is built on top of the main guitar riff which repeats throughout the song. I added some VST pads and bass. I had a keyboardist friend play some riffs, too. He used a small KORG keyboard-vocoder. Finally, I sampled Dr.Lanning's speach from i-Robot.
